Communications and Knowledge Management Specialist

Elizabeth is the Knowledge Management and Communication Specialist for the Agricultural Sector Policy and Institutional Reform Strengthening (ASPIRES) project. Under this role, she leads communication and knowledge management activities aimed to strengthen promotion of the project’s interventions, raising awareness and information sharing so as to drive broad-based agricultural sector growth, improve household food security and nutrition, and reduce poverty.

Elizabeth is also the project’s youth focal point.

Prior to joining ASPIRES, she was the Communications Officer for the Investment Climate Facility for Africa (ICF), a position she held for over four years. Completed in December 2016, ICF was a donor funded Pan African organization that worked with 21 Governments in Africa to create a healthier business environment in the continent. In her role, Elizabeth worked closely with project counterparts in countries including Cape Verde, Ethiopia, Kenya, Mauritius, Rwanda, Tanzania and Zambia where she supported the development and implementation of strategies geared towards investment climate reforms.

She has experience in research, business environment reforms, international development, project life cycle management, stakeholder engagement and excellent written and oral communication. Her experience also enables her to effectively engage with multiple stakeholders. Elizabeth holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Sussex.
